The Broward County MPO is requesting that the Dania Beach City Commission consider approval of a proposed amendment to the proposed MPO Interlocal Agreement. The scope of the proposed Agreement is limited to increasing the number of voting members on the Board. |

Description of Action |
|
The Broward MPO wishes to increase the voting membership of the MPO from 19 voting members to 25 voting members in accordance with the attached Table 1. The membership of the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization has been reapportioned in accordance with Section 339.175(4), Florida Statutes and the Governor of the State of Florida. The municipal voting members of the MPO Board are determined by size of population in accordance with the 2010 Census. Dania Beach is an alternate voting member. |
